Visibility determines who can see your post. Each new post can be set as public, available only to members, or available for one-time purchase.
Visibility options
For every post, you choose one of the following options:
- 1. Public post – Visible to all visitors, including users without an account. Suitable for showcasing your work, announcements, teasers, or first episodes.
- 2. Members only – Accessible only to users with an active subscription. If you have multiple membership levels, you can choose a specific level. Ideal for premium series, bonus episodes, and closed content.
- 3. Paid only – The post is not available to any membership level. It can be purchased as a one-time purchase (by members and non-members). Suitable for individual materials, PDFs, galleries, mini-courses, and bonus episodes.
- 4. Combination: members + one-time purchase – Creatsub allows you to combine membership and one-time sales.
- If you set:
- - visibility: members only,
- - and at the same time set a price,
then:
Members get the content for free. Others can purchase it as a one-time purchase.
This is ideal, for example, for:
- - bonus chapters
- - photo sets
- - extended versions of episodes
- - premium articles
Post price
If you want anyone without a subscription to be able to buy the post:
- - fill in the price field
- - the post will appear as available for purchase even for non-members.
The price is displayed to users directly on the post.
Email notifications to followers
Notifications are linked to the post’s visibility: if the post is available to followers (publicly or for members), this system applies:
How notifications work
Creatsub sends notifications every hour.
- If you publish one post → followers receive an email about this post.
- If you publish multiple posts within one hour → they receive one email with a summary of all new posts.
This keeps things clear and prevents users’ inboxes from being flooded.
